Boundless Vancouver exists to make followers of Jesus and share His love with Vancouver.
About Boundless Vancouver
We are a church community, located in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver, BC. We want to express the deep heart of Jesus behind the shield of The Salvation Army.
We are committed to sharing and exploring God’s infinite love within our neighbourhood and throughout Vancouver, building a welcoming community where people can connect in meaningful, supportive relationships.
We believe God’s love is boundless and allows us to experience a life of passion and purpose. We would love for you to connect with us at Boundless Vancouver and experience deep life, wide love.
Our vision is to see God’s heart discovered and displayed behind The Salvation Army shield.
Boundless relationships are diverse and respectful. We love authentic community and intentional service.
Boundless transformation is tenacious and gracious. We challenge the status quo and endure patiently.
About Our Team
Jonathan & Carla Evans | Leaders
Jonathan and Carla desire to see the light of Jesus shining in the darkest of places, and want to lead God’s people in the vision of being His hands and feet as they live their whole lives as an act of worship. Jonathan graduated with a Master of Divinity at Regent College and Carla graduated with a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation at Carey Theological College. They were instrumental in establishing The War College, a discipleship and mission training school in the Downtown Eastside, prior to responding to God’s call to start Boundless Vancouver. They are proud parents to their children, Jedidiah, Jael and Zoë and together they enjoy watching dog show competitions and finding the best sushi in Vancouver.
Bradley Marsh | Youth Pastor
Brad moved all the way to Vancouver from Richmond and enjoys getting out to the mountains to go trail running and snowboarding. He is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with people of all ages and from every walk of life, but especially our teens and their families. Brad is married to the lovely Chelsea and they have a knack for spreading encouragement and joy wherever they go. If you want to see a big grin on Brad’s face, ask him to play a game of Catan or talk to him about Jacques Ellul.
Rebekah Oh | Youth Ministry Assistant
Bek grew up in Melbourne, Australia before moving to Vancouver in 2016. She oversees the children’s ministry and finds joy in showing the kids who God created them to be and how much He loves them through craft, games and taking them to trampoline parks. Her prayer is that by helping them to build a strong foundation of who they are in Christ while they are young, the children she encounters will grow to be true disciples of Jesus. When she’s not up to her elbows in slime and glitter, Bek enjoys making tortillas, listening to punk rock and being out by the ocean.
